Description

Florian Weimer discovered that the GNU C Library incorrectly handled certain memory operations. A remote attacker could use this issue to cause the GNU C Library to crash, resulting in a denial of service, or possibly execute arbitrary code. This issue only affected Ubuntu 16.04 LTS. (CVE-2017-12133)

A remote attacker could use this issue to cause the GNU C Library to crash, resulting in a denial of service, or possibly execute arbitrary code. This issue only affected Ubuntu 16.04 LTS. (CVE-2017-18269)

    • Upgrade All versions to 0.198.0 or greater
  • Xenial Stemcells
    • Upgrade 170.x versions to 170.223 or greater
    • Upgrade 250.x versions to 250.202 or greater
    • Upgrade 315.x versions to 315.188 or greater
    • Upgrade 456.x versions to 456.116 or greater
    • Upgrade 621.x versions to 621.78 or greater
    • All other stemcells should be upgraded to the latest version available on bosh.io.
  • CF Deployment
    • Upgrade All versions to v13.7.0 or greater
