FreeRDP Buffer Overflow Vulnerability (CNVD-2021-103653)

FreeRDP is an open source implementation of Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) from the Freerdp team.FreeRDP has a buffer error vulnerability in versions prior to 2.4.1, which stems from a networked system or product that does not properly validate data boundaries when performing operations on memory, resulting in an incorrect read or write operation being performed to an associated other memory location. An attacker could exploit the vulnerability to cause remote code execution via a malicious server that could trigger an out-of-bounds write in a connected client.
