Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Windows Server are both products of Microsoft Corporation, an operating system for personal devices, and Microsoft Windows Server, a server operating system. Microsoft Windows and Windows Server have an elevation of privilege vulnerability that stems from the fact that Windows Media Service allows the creation of files in arbitrary locations, which can be exploited by an attacker running a specially crafted application to take control of the affected system.
