LibreCAD Buffer Overflow Vulnerability (CNVD-2022-08149)

LibreCAD is an open source CAD (Computer Aided Design) application from the LibreCAD organization.A buffer overflow vulnerability exists in LibreCAD versions 2.2.0-rc3 and earlier, which stems from a networked system or product that does not properly validate data boundaries when performing operations in memory, resulting in incorrect read and write operations to other memory locations in association . An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to achieve remote code execution using a crafted JWW document.
