DCMTK Denial of Service Vulnerability

DCMTK is a collection of libraries and applications that implement most DICOM standards. Software for inspecting, building and converting DICOM image files, handling offline media, sending and receiving images over a network connection, and demo image storage and worklist servers. a denial of service vulnerability exists in DCMTK version 3.6.6 and earlier, which stems from a failure to properly handle available memory. An attacker could use this vulnerability to launch a DoS attack.
