D-Link DIR-816 Buffer Overflow Vulnerability (CNVD-2022-64491)

D-Link DIR-816 is a wireless router from D-Link, Taiwan, China.A buffer overflow vulnerability exists in the D-Link DIR-816 A2_v1.10CNB04 version, which stems from an addhostfilter parameter in device/goform/websHostFilter that handles untrusted input with a boundary error. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to cause a buffer overflow and execute arbitrary code on the system, or cause the system to crash.
