Linux kernel vmxgfx_kms.c denial of service vulnerability

Linux kernel is the kernel used by the Linux Foundation’s open source operating system Linux. A denial-of-service vulnerability exists in the GPU component of Linux kernel, which stems from an out-of-bounds (OOB) memory access in the vmwgfx driver in drivers/gpu/vmxgfx/vmxgfx_kms.c . An attacker could use this vulnerability to gain privileges that could lead to a denial of service (DoS).
