Microsoft Windows Storage Spaces Controller Elevation of Privilege Vulnerability (CNVD-2022-70064)

An elevation-of-privilege vulnerability exists in Microsoft Windows Storage Spaces Controller, a driver necessary to provide storage space functionality for Microsoft Corporation. The vulnerability stems from improper handling of concurrent access when concurrent code needs to mutually exclusive access shared resources during the operation of a networked system or product. An attacker could use this vulnerability to cause an elevation of privilege.
