Juniper Networks Junos OS EX Access Control Error Vulnerability

Juniper Networks Junos OS EX is a Juniper Networks network operating system for the company’s hardware devices. The operating system provides a secure programming interface and the Junos SDK. Juniper Networks Junos OS EX is vulnerable to an access control error vulnerability that arises from the absence of authentication for critical functions. An attacker could exploit the vulnerability to be able to upload arbitrary files via J-Web, resulting in a loss of integrity in specific parts of the file system, which could allow links to other vulnerabilities.
