Linux kernel out-of-bounds read vulnerability (CNVD-2023-9820529)

Linux kernel is the kernel used by Linux, the open source operating system of the Linux Foundation in the United States. The Linux kernel suffers from an out-of-bounds read vulnerability that stems from an out-of-bounds read problem in the parse_lease_state method of the KSMBD implementation of the kernel’s built-in samba server and CIFS. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to cause a denial of service.
