The Unified Maintenance Audit (UMA) system provides a unified portal for O&M operations, controls and records users’ O&M operations, and supports auditing by way of command display and video replay.

The UMA product has the following vulnerabilities, which are introduced by software provided by suppliers.

The UMA product has multiple information leak vulnerabilities. An attacker could exploit them to obtain some sensitive information, causing information leak. (Vulnerability ID: HWPSIRT-2017-05050, HWPSIRT-2017-05065, HWPSIRT-2017-05115)

These vulnerabilities have been assigned Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) IDs: CVE-2017-8118, CVE-2017-8130, CVE-2017-8121.

The UMA product has multiple privilege elevation vulnerabilities due to insufficient validation or improper processing of parameters. An attacker could craft specific packets to exploit these vulnerabilities to gain elevated privileges. (Vulnerability ID: HWPSIRT-2017-05061, HWPSIRT-2017-05063, HWPSIRT-2017-05064, HWPSIRT-2017-05066, HWPSIRT-2017-05113, HWPSIRT-2017-05114, HWPSIRT-2017-05116, HWPSIRT-2017-05117, HWPSIRT-2017-05118)

These vulnerabilities have been assigned Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) IDs: CVE-2017-8126, CVE-2017-8128, CVE-2017-8129, CVE-2017-8117, CVE-2017-8119, CVE-2017-8120, CVE-2017-8122, CVE-2017-8123, CVE-2017-8124.

The UMA product has multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities due to insufficient input validation. An attacker could craft malicious links or scripts to launch XSS attacks. (Vulnerability ID: HWPSIRT-2017-05060, HWPSIRT-2017-05062)

These vulnerabilities have been assigned Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) IDs: CVE-2017-8125, CVE-2017-8127.

Huawei has provided the vulnerability information to the suppliers, and the suppliers have analyzed and fixed the vulnerabilities.
