IBM Watson Speech Services Cartridge for IBM Cloud Pak for Data is vulnerable to an arbitrary code execution in e2fsprogs caused by an out-of-bounds read/write vulnerability. (CVE-2022-1304). e2fsprogs is included as part of the Base OS used by our service images. Please read the details for remediation below.

**DESCRIPTION:**e2fsprogs could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system, caused by an out-of-bounds read/write vulnerability. By sending a specially-crafted request, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code on the system or cause a segmentation fault.
