**DESCRIPTION:**PyArrow could allow a remote authenticated attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system, caused by an unsafe deserialization in IPC and Parquet readers. By persuading a victim to open a specially crafted content, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code on the system.

For all affected versions, IBM strongly recommends addressing the vulnerability now by upgrading to the latest (v4.8.2 or later releases) release of IBM Watson Assistant for IBM Cloud Pak for Data which maintains backward compatibility with the versions listed above.
