Abstract

Three web security vulnerabilities were identified in the WebSphere eXtreme Scale monitoring console, those being a cross site scripting vulnerability, a log-off processing weakness, and vulnerability to a phishing attack.

REMEDIATION:

For WebSphere eXtreme Scale V7.1.0, upgrade to V7.1.1 and apply the following V7.1.1 interim fix. Do not apply V8.5 or V8.6 interim fixes to V7.1.1.

Workaround(s) & Mitigation(s):
A workaround, until the interim fix may be applied, is to avoid use of the WebSphere eXtreme Scale monitoring console.
