IBM Watson Speech Services Cartridge for IBM Cloud Pak for Data is vulnerable to an HTTP header injection in Twisted, caused by improper validation of input by the NameVirtualHost Host header [CVE-2022-39348]. Twisted is used as a component of our Speech runtimes. This vulnerabilitiy has been addressed. Please read the details for remediation below.

Vulnerability Details

**DESCRIPTION:**Twisted is vulnerable to HTTP header injection, caused by improper validation of input by the NameVirtualHost Host header. By persuading a victim to visit a specially-crafted Web page, a remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to inject arbitrary HTTP headers, which will allow the attacker to conduct various attacks against the vulnerable system, including cross-site scripting, cache poisoning or session hijacking.
