IBM HTTP Server used by IBM WebSphere Application Server is vulnerable to information disclosure due to IBM GSKit which is used for SSL connections. This has been addressed in the remediation section.

Vulnerability Details

CVEID:CVE-2023-32342
**DESCRIPTION:**IBM GSKit could allow a remote attacker to obtain sensitive information, caused by a timing-based side channel in the RSA Decryption implementation. By sending an overly large number of trial messages for decryption, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to obtain sensitive information.

IBM strongly recommends addressing the vulnerability now by applying a currently available interim fix or fix pack that contains APAR PH52546.

For V9.0.0.0 through 9.0.5.15:
ยท Upgrade to minimal fix pack levels as required by interim fix and then apply Interim Fix PH52546

For V8.5.0.0 through 8.5.5.23:
