CVEID: CVE-2018-0739 DESCRIPTION: OpenSSL is vulnerable to a denial of service. By sending specially crafted ASN.1 data with a recursive definition, a remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to consume excessive stack memory.

An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to forge messages, some of which may be authenticated.

Affected Products and Versions

Releases 7.1, 7.2 and 7.3 of IBM i are affected.

Remediation/Fixes

The issue can be fixed by applying a PTF to IBM i.

Releases 7.1, 7.2 and 7.3 of IBM i are supported and will be fixed.
