**DESCRIPTION:**Linux Kernel is vulnerable to a heap-based buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking by the grub_font_construct_glyph function in grub2. By using a specially-crafted pf2 font, a local authenticated attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service condition on the system.
