The Siemens SCALANCE W Client provides Industrial Wireless LAN (IWLAN) capabilities for industrial environments. IWLAN is an extension of the IEEE 802.11 standard for devices that will be deployed in demanding industrial applications with real-time and redundancy requirements. Siemens provides IWLAN capabilities with its SCALANCE W products.
