The IBM WebSphere Application Server running on the remote host is version 8.0.x through 8.0.0.15, 8.5.x through 8.5.5.19 or 9.0.x through 9.0.5.7. It is, therefore, vulnerable to a XML External Entity Injection (XXE) attack when processing XML data. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to expose sensitive information or consume memory resources.
Note that Nessus has not tested for this issue but has instead relied only on the application’s self-reported version number.
