CVE-2021-47180

A vulnerability was found in the NFC:nci subsystem of Linux Kernel, where a memory leak caused in nci_allocate_device because of the nfcmrvl_disconnect function failed to free the hci_dev field in struct nci_dev, leading to potential memory exhaustion.

Mitigation

Red Hat has investigated whether a possible mitigation exists for this issue, and has not been able to identify a practical example. Please update the affected package as soon as possible.
