Two critical vulnerabilities have been discovered that could lead to the execution of attacker code when processing specially formatted content. It is warned that facts of using these vulnerabilities to carry out attacks have already been detected on the network. The problems are caused by accessing already freed memory areas (use-after-free) when processing ReadableStream (CVE-2020-6820) and when executing the nsDocShell destructor (CVE-2020-6819).
Install security updates.**Install updates in the following ways:**a) If the computer with the installed OS version has access to the vendor’s official repository, run the update as administrator with the command:# yum update
After the list of updated packages is displayed, agree to apply updates by pressing the Y key on the keyboard.
