Vulnerability Details:
This vulnerability allows local attackers to escalate privileges on vulnerable installations of Foxit Reader. An attacker must first obtain the ability to execute low-privileged code on the target system in order to exploit this vulnerability.
The specific flaw exists within the processing of proxyDoAction requests with opcode 0x100000. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of user-supplied data when input, which can result in a stack based buffer overflow. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to escalate privileges and execute code at medium integrity.
