Linux Kernel is prone to a local denial-of-service vulnerability. An attacker can exploit this issue to cause a denial-of-service condition. Due to the nature of this issue, privilege-escalation may be possible but this has not been confirmed. Linux kernel versions 4.14.5 and prior are vulnerable.
Permit local access for trusted individuals only. Where possible, use restricted environments and restricted shells.
Allow only trusted individuals to have user accounts and local access to the resources.
