mysql is vulnerable to denial of service (DoS) attacks. The vulnerability is in the MySQL Server component of Oracle MySQL. A low privileged attacker with network access via multiple protocols could compromise MySQL Server resulting in unauthorized ability to cause a hang or frequently repeatable crash of the server.
