Chatbot < 4.7.8 - Admin+ Stored XSS in FAQ Builder

Description The plugin does not sanitise and escape some of its settings, which could allow high privilege users such as admin to perform Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks even when the unfiltered_html capability is disallowed (for example in multisite setup)

1. Navigate to “WPBot Lite -> Setting -> FAQ Builder” 2. Enter XSS Payload of `` to FAQ query and FAQ answer. 3. Save Settings 4. Visit any blog page without login or authentication and use AI ChatBot’s “bot chat” feature then typing FAQ will trigger payload.
