(0Day) WebGate Control Center FileConverter.FileConverterCtrl.1 GetRecFileInfo Stack and Heap Buffer Overflow Remote Code Execution Vulnerabilities

This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on vulnerable installations of WebGate Control Center. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file. The specific flaw exists within the FileConverter.FileConverterCtrl.1 control. The GetRecFileInfo method copies arbitrary data into fixed-size buffers on both the heap and stack. This would allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code in the context of the browser.
